Half of the land is dedicated to the typical autochtonic regional grape variety, Tocai Friulano, whilst Malvasia Istriana is produced the least with an average of about 8 hectolitres per year. Cultivating the vines and subsequently the wine-making itself is done with the help of modern machinery whilst keeping to the traditions of the winery as close as possible. Nowadays, the winery is run by the third generation of the family, having been founded in the beginning of the 19th Century by Luigi Zorzon, the current owner's (Giorgio Deganis) grandfather. Our wines are sold with great enthusiasm and appreciation all over Italy and also in nearby Austria and Germany. We always pleased to welcome groups of tourists, restaurant owners and individuals in our winery for guided tours of the vineyards and for winetastings in our characteristic purpose-built winecellar.
The winery is spread across 20 hectares of land, of which 7 hectares are used for cultivating DOC Collio vineyards. We produce the following five white wines:
Friulano,
Pinot grigio,
Sauvignon e
Malvasia istriana;
we also produce 2 red wines:
Cabernet franc and
Merlot,
a Spumante G&P Brut
